The Icons of Aviation Awards (IOA) is celebrating its five-year anniversary on 2 November 2019 at the Marriott Hotel, Ocean Park.

About the AsBAA Icons of Aviation

The IOA started in 2014 to recognise excellence in our industry and give back to the communities in which we are privileged to operate. Since then, the IOA has raised over USD100,000 for AsBAA's corporate social responsibility initiatives including donations to Orbis' incredible Flying Eye Hospital.

The Awards

• AsBAA members are allocated to the award categories by AsBAA.
• Members have a window of one week (30 Sep. - 4 Oct.) to check their nomination category is correct or report change requests.
• Award voting commences in October.
• AsBAA members vote via a secure election system which is moderated and verified by an impartial third party.
• Winners are announced live on the night at the Icons of Aviation Awards 2019.

Dress-code

• Black tie or long cocktail gowns.

Transport

• The Marriott Ocean Park is 5 minutes from Admiralty on the South Island Line.
• The property is a short taxi ride of around 15 minutes from Central Hong Kong.
• Buses frequently run to and from the venue.​

Lodging

• HK$1,100 plus 10% service charge per room per night ( room only)
• Buffet breakfast : HK$150 plus 10% service charge per person
